I’m sure you’ve seen the videos, or even been at a sporting event where chants of “F— Biden!” break out.
It’s something that makes me laugh, and gives me encouragement that more and more people are waking up to the fact that Joe Biden is the worst president we’ve ever seen.
Believe me, I think it’s great that the average American is awakening to this horror show. Frankly, the devastation Joe and company are creating is so obvious, and the media blackouts of his failures so pervasive, that I’d almost be surprised if we weren’t hearing these chants breaking out somewhere!
Yet at the same time, I am also quite aware that these vulgar chants would not be occurring in America in an earlier time. America was founded as a Christian nation, and Christians are not known for spouting out the F word at sporting events.
The fact doesn’t escape me, that as much as I appreciated the actions Trump did for America, part of me always cringed a bit when he would curse at events, knowing that children were present.
Call me old fashioned, a prude, or what have you, I don’t care. In the battle for America’s soul, this topic needs to be discussed.
And for the record, I’m a big Trump supporter (except for the vaccine cheerleading).
I can already hear the derision of many on the right for even bringing this topic up. I haven’t heard anybody talking about it (maybe there are in Christian chat rooms), but I’m sure many have thought about it.
For some time I’ve been pondering this whole topic of Americans increasingly cursing in public. I see it at the gym–people talking to each other, cursing gratuitously, with women often matching the men curse for curse. Is this what equality has come to mean?
Anyone who has any familiarity with the Bible knows that it warns over and over that there is something wrong with the habit of cursing. We instinctively know that what comes out of the mouth is related to what resides inside the heart.
If you think that I am making a small, and perhaps unnecessary point, I beg to differ with you. How we speak reflects who we are, and who we have become is the reason America is in a state of captivity.
I wrote about this problem here and in other posts.
It’s funny, when I say that America must return to God to be free again, some are so far removed from the spiritual base that founded this nation, that they cannot see the connection, and instead get mad at me for not proposing “real solutions.”
They think that THEY are God, and they can propose all sorts of physical “solutions,” while ignoring the God that gave them the freedom to begin with!
I’ve noted 2 Chronicles 7:14, which says…
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
But I always hear from some “Bible scholar” who will tell me that this only applied to the Jews in Israel at that specific time! As if cleaning up our act and returning to God NOW, TODAY, IN AMERICA will not get God’s attention and cause Him, in his infinite and everlasting mercy, to show us mercy today!
American vs. French Revolutions
When injustice reaches a certain level, people will rebel, but HOW we rebel is crucial! Our Founding Fathers were essentially God-fearing men, and knew how to fight–with the right tools at the right time. Their success is proof of that.
Conversely, the French Revolution—with all of its high-sounding rhetoric—turned into a horror show with mass murders via guillotine.
So HOW you rebel is crucial! And getting it right is therefore crucial!
When I see rallies and protests, I’m starting to pay more attention to their foundation. If there is no discernable moral base, the movement is doomed.
America has allowed its moral base to be gutted over the last sixty years or so. What did we EXPECT would happen to us?
I’ll believe that America (and by extension—the world) will truly be waking up and ready to throw off its chains, IF righteous behavior returns to the land. Until then, as entertaining as it may be, and as much as I appreciate them, no epithets directed at “our leaders” will return us to our founding principles, and to our freedom.

Unfortunately, your average millennial thinks nothing of using the F-word.
Probably because most of their Gen-X parents used it in front of them on a regular basis.
I am a baby-boomer and I never personally heard her either of my parents say that word in front of me in my entire life.
I’d say that’s true most of my generation.
That’s true for me too, Brian. Same generation. Never heard either of my parents say it. Losing the language means something. Too few people seem to realize that.
