Are any of you going to defend Joe Biden at this point?
Well, some of you voted for him, some of you cheated for him, and you own this mess.
And those of you who did NOT vote for him, and who did NOT cheat for him–well, many of you actually own this mess too.
Because there’s a good chance that your actions, and non-actions, over a period of years and even decades, depending on your age, has laid the groundwork for the American catastrophe.
I can list a lot things that led up to the breathtaking American humiliation in Afghanistan, that has Resident Biden hiding in Camp David, and his mouthpiece, Jen Psaki, actually ON VACATION as Afghanistan falls into chaos with thousands of lives in jeopardy.
There’s no credible way of the media to cover for these people anymore.
And things are going to get worse–perhaps MUCH worse. A colossal failure like this has coattails–bad foreign actors see this weakness and will respond in some way–perhaps ways that will challenge us as never before.
China could use this fiasco to attack Taiwan, for instance. And I expect some form of invasion of America (which has already been happening through our Southern border–thanks, Biden and Biden enablers!).
Confidence in our markets will suffer–perhaps dramatically. Our economy–already under great strain from COVID-related lockdowns and mandates–will take a hit too.
In short, things could get very ugly until we regain a sense that someone competent is in charge. And I don’t see that happening in the short term.
But in truth, this mess didn’t just happen. True, the manifestation of the mess has appeared suddenly, but its fundamentals have been building for a long time.
What Is the Mess?
The mess should be self-explanatory, but basically I’d call it the rise of insanity / evil that has engulfed America and the world.
On the day Donald Trump became President, the Left and its allies started literally burning down America. What it showed was that they were ALREADY in control–culturally–and that we’d had a form of “peace” up until that point. Every marker had been moving in their direction–the culture, the schools, the bankrupting of our country through debt, fiat currency, taxes, and regulations…
In short, the American People were suffering, as the elite ascended.
And once Trump was elected, the powers that be could not bear to have their party crashed–so they set out to crash him–and the American People.
Trump was able to restore much: our sovereignty, our economy, and our military. But even WITH Trump, at our core, America was not TRULY becoming great again.
Because the fundamentals had not changed, though some were moving in the right direction.
The Promise Trump Couldn’t Keep
Trump’s main promise to the voters was that he would “drain the Swamp.” He did not achieve that.
Actually, it was impossible for him to achieve that, because “the Swamp” was much bigger than Trump realized, with the greatest part of it being outside his control.
Because “the Swamp” is the corruption that resides in every human heart, until it has been redeemed.
And no President can drain that Swamp!
The People must–in effect–drain their own swamp!
And we haven’t–we certainly have not changed the fundamentals.
What Fundamental or Fundamentals Do We Need to Change?
In the 1960’s, the government took prayer out of the schools–Americans let it happen.
In that decade, the government helped destroy the black family by mandating a woman could not receive “welfare” payments if a man resided in the home. Many black women accepted the money and black men left.
In 1973, Roe V. Wade made abortion-on-demand the law of the land. Americans by and large accepted this, and at this point, over 63 MILLION unborn children have been murdered in their mother’s wombs.
We hear that abortions are going down, but there have been nearly 540,000 abortions in America THIS YEAR alone.
If that doesn’t absolutely disgust you, then you are definitely part of the problem.
Why would a just God continue to bless America when we kill our unborn children at such a rate?
Add to that the explosion of out-of-wedlock births–think of the miserable lives some of these children lead, who are not raised by their mothers AND fathers.
Marriage is not respected in America today. In our arrogance, we have re-defined God’s plan to include men marrying men, women marrying women, and somehow think we can increase the number of genders too!
How do you think God looks at this?
Government Schools
There’s much talk these days about parents fighting CRT (Critical Race Theory). I applaud these parents, and this is a great development. But why have we given our kids to the government anyway to educate them, often for sixteen–or even eighteen years?
What do you think that does to the hearts and minds of the children?
The reason this is often done is because parents are looking for a free babysitter. Don’t we know by now there is nothing for free in this world? I understand that the government has also made it difficult to make ends meet on a single income, but this is OUR fault for letting them burden us with taxes and regulations, and cheapen the value of our dollar!
Giving our children over to the government school system is a HUGE part of the problem with our culture. Raising our children is OUR jobs–not the government’s. So we should not be blaming the government schools for doing what is in their nature (corrupting our kids). Instead, we should be looking at OURSELVES!
Think of just about any problem you can see in the culture. You can almost always connect it back to the government educating our kids.
Churches
Outside of the home itself, the Church is supposed to be a rock-solid support for our relationship with God and our fellow human beings. But for the most part, it has taken on secular values. It has lost its “salt.” How can a country with a weak Church be strong?
Stopping the Slide
I can go on, but hopefully you get the point. And that is this: The fundamentals in America have been weakening over a period of decades. As much as many of us wish Trump were President, it would not be enough to stop our cultural slide. That is OUR job.
The answer has been in front of us all along, and if we truly seek a restored America, then we should well heed it:
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
God always gives us a choice. We can continue doing it “our way,” or we can finally wise up. The question is, how badly do we want to fix this–our–mess?
Let me know: Are you ready to fix your mess?

There are many strong churches doing great work in the community and around the world. I am a part of one and know of many others. John MacArthur of Grace Community Church never shut their doors throughout the China Coronavirus debacle. They stood against the government of California. I have many friends that are members of various churches in different states. These churches are helping in furthering God’s Kingdom in various ways by God’s power. None of these churches are perfect because they are full of imperfect people. But God uses us anyway just like He used Apostles Peter, Paul and John. The gates of hell shall not prevail against it… Jesus
Thank you, WW. I agree.
“Wanna Know How to FIX THIS MESS?”
I’m guessing there was an answer in the article somewhere…but gave up trying to find it after being told repeatedly… “It’s your fault!”.
Most people don’t want to be told “It’s your fault.” Looks like you’re one of them. We have a nation of people who don’t want to take responsibility for their role in America’s fall. It’s always somebody else’s fault. And no change happens, things just get worse. It’s time we ended this “pass the buck” attitude. That’s what got us here.
