I’ve been having some trouble digesting saturated fats lately, so I decided to give my body a break and just eat vegan for a little while. The problem is, I’ve always failed at this after three to four days.

I just go off the rails and wolf down animal food like it’s going out of style.

Is that the way it has to be or is there an alternative?

So in search of a little help staying with a plant-based diet, I did a bit of Internet surfing and found a video that promoted vegan eating. In the clip, a man named Dr. John McDougall made simple point that explained why I’d always failed, and that made me know in an instant I could follow this diet as long as I wanted to.

Hint: it has something to do with starch.

There’s a supporting key for anyone considering eating a vegan diet, and that is getting sufficient micronutrients. This is one great way to ensure it.

How long will I stay with this diet? I don’t know. But I do know that I’ll stay with it as long as I CHOOSE, and not be forced off of it in an all-out animal food binge!
