The Josephine County (OR) Republican Party, led by Chair Holli Morton, hosted the Third Annual Patriots’ Conference in Grants Pass Saturday, March 15th at the Josephine County Fairgrounds and Event Center.

The Josephine County Republican Party and Chair Holli Morton have done a tremendous job focusing on promoting and electing conservative candidates. The new Mayor of Grants Pass, Clint Scherf participated in the event, along with several Grants Pass City Council Members (Erich Schloegl, Kathleen Krohn, and Victoria Marshall–all were swept in on a conservative slate in the November election), Josephine County Commissioner Chris Barnett, Oregon District 3 Representative Dwayne Yunker, and other state Representatives.
Volunteers did an excellent job preparing the meeting and exhibits, and baking some delicious food and desserts.
I came away from the event with appreciation for those who are stepping forward to make a difference in their area, and a hope that more citizens who want to see their community improve will set aside some time to help make a difference.
